Autumn in Florence, Opera and Dinner at the Palace

We are ready for the last two November dates in Florence with La Traviata. The opera will be performed at Pugliese Palace, a wonderful example of XV century architecture in Florence. The guests who attend the show on November 23rd and 30th 2019 at 8:30 pm will have the opportunity to visit the halls of Pugliese Palace before the concert, and admire the splendid frescoes covering them, with the help of a guide.

Those who prefer to plan the whole soirée in advance are invited to take a seat at the table at Trattoria da Giovanni, from 7:00 pm. They will be reserved a special menu with the perfect timing to attend the opera at the Palace.

La Traviata, a timeless opera narrating a tormented story of love and death, will be brought to the stage by La Lirica di Firenze ensemble, in an intimate environment touching the soul of visitors. Other two performances are scheduled on December 27th and 29th 2019.

A full set of dates is offered, on the other hand, by the “Opera Italiana” show at the Church of Santa Monaca. The concert combines the performance of the most famous opera arias of La Traviata, La Bohème, Tosca, Madame Butterfly, The Marriage of Figaro, and The Barber of Seville, with the historical setting of Santa Monaca Church in Florence, dating back to the XV century. The show will be on stage every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday in November 2019. There will also be a number of dates in December 2019, to make sure nobody can miss this incredible journey through the history of Italian Opera and bel canto.
