We had missed them over the past two years when theatre was almost totally suspended. This spring, The Three Tenors bring back to Sorrento the soul of bel canto, and return the great music tradition to the city. The Correale Museum of Terranova and its gardens blossom again to host our guests in great number for the new 2022 Opera Concert Season.
New Line-up for Opera e Lirica
We are back with the opera arias that made history with the Three Tenors since the success achieved by Pavarotti & Friends, but with a new line-up for Opera e Lirica in Sorrento. Along with our beloved Marco Ferrante and Alessandro Fortunato, the elegant Correale Museum concert hall hosts a new protagonist indeed, the tenor Vincenzo Tremante, who graduated from the Conservatory of Naples and came back to his homeland after numerous opera concerts in China, from Beijing to Shanghai. In Italy, he has already sung as a soloist in various recitals, from “Messa da Requiem” to “The Luciano Pavarotti Heritage”.
Concert Dates in Sorrento for the 2022 Opera Season
The first concert of The Three Tenors in Sorrento is taking place on Saturday, 23 rd of April 2022 at the Correale Museum of Terranova, then proposing a recurring event every Tuesday and Saturday at 9:00 PM until the 6 th of September 2022, with a short break in mid-August. Tickets are available from €45, and you will also be able to book an optional shuttle service directly from your hotel to the concert hall. The opening hour is 8:00 PM, so that you’ll have the time, if you wish, to enjoy the lush gardens around the museum. Pamper yourself with a wonderful soirée organized for you.
