BIOGRAPHY 

The Three Tenors

A harmony of voices with a Neapolitan soul. Three young talents, but already with mature experience, united by their passion for opera music, whose paths have crossed to create a unique ensemble. Their distinct personalities and their incredible and powerful voices, singing in unison, instill passion and emotions in the hearts of their listeners.

Francesco Fortes

Born in Naples in 1983, he undertook his musical studies under the guidance of Sabatino Raia and Gianni Desideri, continuing then, his training with Danilo Rigosa and Donata D'Annunzio Lombardi. He was selected to attend the advanced training course held by Renata Scotto at the Santa Cecilia National Academy in Rome.

In 2016, he participated in the Italy, a dream tour with tenor Vittorio Grigolo. In February 2015, he took part in a theater tour in Russia playing the role of Mario Pagano for the premiere of A. D'Alessandro's opera Luisa Sanfelice, performing as tenor soloist Puccini's Messa di Gloria with conductor Valery Platanof (Ufa Opera Theater, Russia). In October 2012, he was soloist in Vivaldi's Magnificat for solos, choir and orchestra RV 610, organized by the Teatro San Carlo in Naples for the event "Il San Carlo nelle Chiese". 

He made his debut as Rodolfo in Puccini's La Bohème at Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, Teatro Verdi in Pisa and Teatro del Giglio in Lucca, and as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly at Teatro Pergolesi Spontini in Jesi, and Teatro Comunale in Ferrara. In 2021 he performed at the Macerata Festival in Aida and at the Capri Opera Festival, I Pagliacci.

Other engagements include especially Turandot (Calaf) at the Palazzo Farnese in Piacenza, Aida (Radames) at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro Argentina, Teatro Quirino and Teatro Eliseo. He also performed as Alfredo Germont in La Traviata (Maratea), Duca di Mantova in Rigoletto (Salerno, Auditorium "Umberto Zanotti Bianco" in Reggio Calabria), Don Flaminio del Sole in Cimarosa's La Finta Parigina (Trianon Theater in Naples), Turiddu in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana (Trianon Theater in Naples).

Second prize and special prize as the best male voice "Luciano Pavarotti" at the 19th edition of the "Premio Lirico Internazionale Umberto Giordano" in Foggia, third prize at the 5th International Opera Competition "Voci dal Mediterraneo" in Syracuse, second prize at the 12th International Leopoldo Mugnone Competition "Città di Caserta" and First Prize overall at the 7th European Young Musicians Competition "Luigi Denza" - Castellammare di Stabia. Finalist at the 2012 "Francesco Albanese" International Opera Singing Competition and the 4th "Giacomo Puccini International Competition" in Torre del Lago and the "International Opera Competition" in Matera Città dei Sassi.

Vincenzo Tremante

Born in Naples in 1991, he undertook his singing studies with Luigi Giordano Orsini, Valentina Bilancione and Maurizio Iaccarino. He obtained in 2015 the academic diploma in opera singing at the Conservatory of Naples "S. Pietro a Majella" and in 2019 the two-year specialized diploma in vocal chamber music.

A regular student of the Advanced Training Course for opera singers at the Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti/Mirella Freni in Modena (2021/22), he perfected his training with: Barbara Frittoli, Mariella Devia, Michele Pertusi, Leone Magiera, Angelo Gabrielli, Jacopo Squizzato, Stefano Monti.

During his studies, he already takes part in numerous productions in both singing and acting capacities, including: F. Poulenc's I dialoghi delle Carmelitane in the role of 1st Commissario; J. Napoli's Mas'Aniello in the title role; Campanelli - Fischetti's Aida di Scafati in the role of Salvatore Radames held at the Teatrino di Corte (Naples) and at the Mercadante in Altamura; he is Don Narciso in N.Jommelli's intermezzo, L'uccellatrice, held at Palazzo Zevallos (Naples).

He performed numerous concert tours in the most important cities in China, such as: Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangzhou under the direction of maestro Silvano Corsi.

In Italy, he performed numerous solo recitals: Messa da Requiem by N. Jommelli at the Museo Diocesano in Naples; Belcanto - The Luciano Pavarotti Heritage under the direction of Franco Dragone at the Teatro Eliseo (Rome); Vespro breve by F. Durante, in first modern performance, at the Real Museo di Capodimonte (NA).

He played the role of "Il Messaggero" in G. Verdi's Aida staged at the San Carlo (Naples); Teatro Quirino - V. Gassman, Teatro Argentina, Eliseo (Rome); Teatro La Pergola (Florence).

He was Pong in the staging of Turandot staged at Palazzo Farnese (Piacenza), under the baton of S. Giaroli with the direction of A. Cabassi in the 2018 Estate Opera Festival. He was Pong and Altoum in the staging of G. Puccini's opera Turandot at theaters: San Carlo (Naples); Argentina (Rome); La Pergola (Florence) and Comunale (Bologna) under the baton of G. Neri and directed by G. Neri and under the direction of L. Capaccioli. He debuted in the role of "Arturo Bucklaw" in G. Donizetti's opera Lucia di Lammermoor at the Sala dei Teatini (Piacenza). In 2021 he was "Nemorino" in G. Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, at theaters: San Carlo (Naples); Vespasiano (Rome) Ostia Antica (Rome). For the Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti/Mirella Freni in Modena and the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza, he took part in the production of A. Boito's Mefistofele, playing the roles of "Wagner" and "Nereo," with musical direction by F. Pasqualetti and direction by E. Stinchelli (October 2022).

For the Teatro Comunale di Modena he was the protagonist of DolceAmaro - Il gioco delle coppie.

For the "Bach Academy" project in collaboration with the Teatro Comunale di Modena, he was the protagonist of two recitals on the Bach repertoire at the Alte Börse in Leipzig under the musical direction of F.E. Comte.

Alessandro Fortunato

Born in Salerno in 1980, he completed his studies at the G. Martucci Conservatory in Salerno, Italy, and in 2006 he received his Diploma in Singing under the guidance of Maestro Claudio Di Segni. Since 2003 he began a collaboration with the G. Verdi Theater in Salerno as a chorus artist participating in numerous productions including: Il barbiere di Siviglia on tour in India with performances in New Delhi and Bombay; Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci at the G. Verdi theater in Salerno; Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci at the Politeama theater in Catanzaro; Il cappello di paglia di Firenze at the G. Verdi theater in Salerno; La vedova allegra at the G. Verdi of Salerno directed by Gino Landi; Tosca at G. Verdi Theater of Salerno; Tosca at the Politeama theater of Catanzaro; Turandot at the Olympiastadion in Munich; I Carmina Burana at the G. Verdi Theater of Salerno; La Bohème at the G. Verdi Theater of Salerno; Concert in honor of Battisti conducted by Beppe Vessicchio on live television on Rai1. In 2005 he made his debut as soloist in Werther at the G. Verdi Theater in Salerno. He was immediately cast in La Traviata where he made his debut as soloist the following month again at the G. Verdi Theater in Salerno. In 2006 he played the lead role in the musical The Phantom of the Opera directed by André De La Roche on tour in major Italian cities. In November 2006 he made his debut at the Teatro Comunale di Rovigo in the opera Werther.

In January 2007 the album Note in Pasta was released, published by the region Campania and by the museum of Pulcinella cultural center "Acerra nostra," where he interprets discographically unreleased songs. Since 2010 he has starred in the Musical Cantanapoli on stage at Teatro 10 in Rome, Teatro Sistina in Rome, Salone Margherita in Rome and other theaters and squares in Italy.

In 2013 he debuted in the role of Riccardo in the world premiere of the opera Lo sposo al lotto by Francesco Stabile at the Teatro Stabile di Potenza. A well-rounded musician, he is also composer and author of the pop opera Orfeo ed Euridice - Amore Immortale, which premiered in 2011 at the Augusteo Theater in Salerno. Musical director and producer for the show Floricienta - Live Show that was staged in March 2014.

Musical director and producer for the show Napule è in August 2016; Per Amore in August 2017; Le sfumature dell'amore in January 2018; That's Ammore in May 2018. Winner of the "Best Unpublished Song" award as composer and arranger in the competition "Una voce for Pithecusae" Ischia 2016 with the song Tendimi la mano. Winner of the "Best Unpublished Song" award as composer and arranger at the 4th Muro Lucano Song Festival with the song Tendimi la mano.
