Christmas is a magic moment. Right at the time when the year is ending and the cold winter hits the cities, Christmas celebrations arrive to warm our hearts, to give us a reason to hug each other, gather around the fireplace when we are at home and join the beautiful events in the sacred or historical places, with their merry atmosphere. Their festive decorations welcome us in the best possible way and make us feel close to each other.
For this Christmas in Paris, the Hélios Orchestra and Tempestuoso Choir offer us unmissable performances in the most evocative churches in town.
The rich musical programme at La Madeleine Church includes Haendel’s Messiah on December 21, the Christmas Concert on December 23, the Corelli Christmas Night’s Concert on December 26, Ravel’s Bolero and Beethoven’s IX Symphony on December 29, ending with the New Year’s Eve Concert on January 1, 2020.
The same ensemble will gather on December 22, at St. Roch’s Church, for the Christmas Concert conducted by Jean Charles Dunard.
Another beautiful festive concert will take place at La Trinité Church on December 30, 2019. This time the Hélios Orchestra and Tempestuoso Choir will play Haendel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks, a prelude of the celebrations of New Year’s Eve in Paris.
We wish you the best holidays that you could ever imagine.
